Rat Among Wizards Chapter 3 Gaius walked through the academy. Both the outside and inside seemed more like a castle that a school. Tapestries lined the walls showing pictures of sages, owls, and scroll. Light emanated from what appeared to be torches but further inspection would reveal them to merely be sticks with glowing orbs atop them. Rat Among Wizards Chapter 2 Gaius looked up, peering at the face of his adopted father. Hemmar's coppery face, dark eyes, and hooked nose always made an obvious contrast which revealed his status as a stepson. A Rat Among Wizards Chapter 1 A young woman sat upon a bench while looking to the sky. A castle floated around with four waterfalls mysteriously from each of it's four sides. The woman herself had short, wavy hair and slightly squinted eyes, both were of a deep hazel hue. WOO! What an adventure. I just completed a service mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints from March to October 2022 at Bluff Fort, Utah. The Fort commemorates one of the most insane, miraculous, and difficult pioneer treks ever attempted in the history of the United States (that I know of). It was an epic story of when everything went wrong and and ended right through real miracles. It's run by a private foundation and volunteers are provided by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. Our family had no idea the fort even existed until I found it on the list of places to volunteer at. It’s only been up and running for about 20 years and yet they’ve rebuilt 16 cabins with self guided audio in several languages, a Navajo Hogan, a Ute Teepee, a two story co-op, and renovated old government buildings into a wood

A fellow deviant I've been following has semi-recently started writing a web manga. ~OgawaBurukku (https://www.deviantart.com/ogawaburukku) has created a comic called Fallen, it's a magical girl story with a dark and gritty twist on the genre. Initially it started as an online novel in Livejournal with previews of the characters on her channel.
